As of Yet Unfinished, An Original by Sam LeFleur

What have I done,
Oh, Heaven and Earth,
With Hell beneath my feet?
I can’t laugh,
I can’t cry,
I can’t find my soul,
I can’t even admit defeat.
My policy of love,
At long last forgotten,
I could never desire it more.
What transpires is thus,
I put up a fuss,
And forget what’s really important.
I’m alive and well,
A few to catch me if I fell,
A handful of personified love.
My family and friends,
A mate somewhere out there,
This is not quite just the end.
